One of the best ways to control body roll is to incorporate sway bars into the design of the suspension, effectively providing a tensional spring, linking the right and left sides of the car. This provides the resistance required to reduce body roll. Chrysler products engineers used sway bars, primarily in front on some vehicles with heavy-duty suspensions and even at the rear-first on high speed police vehicles and later on performance models. However, because the relatively low loads anticipated due to the limited capabilities of the tires in that era, stock muscle car sway bars fall short when matched with today's performance radial tires. PST carries an extensive line of sway bars for Chrysler products that are designed to greatly reduce body roll with today's improved tires resulting in greater control and cornering ability.
